Ply Split Braiding (Workshop by Mr. Erroll Piers, designer NID)

Day 01 (17/02/2014)

I was very excited for this workshop and finally we started today with little confusing exercise. The first day was very interesting. It was nice experience playing with ropes today and I love to work with ropes, I have learnt Knotting little bit in my foundation but this time it was very different and new for me. At start, I thought it was confusing but the way Mr. Erroll explained it, made it simpler and very interesting. I hope the upcoming days are more interesting and knowledgeable. I have seen a lot of ways of knotting before but Mr. Erroll took it too an another level and I enjoyed exploring a new way of knotting and with just little changes and creativity a technique can be taken a whole new level.
